We are constantly amazed by the generosity of all those who support Friends of KDH, and wonder if they know what a difference they make to the patients and staff at Khayelitsha District Hospital?

 

A cloudy Monday morning in April saw a loaned 4-ton truck making two long trips from a factory in Capricorn Park to the hospital, delivering 64 800 sachets of life-saving nutritional paste! 6 pallets of ready-to-use therapeutic food, used in the management of severe malnutrition in children, were offloaded that day. Within 10 minutes, 44 sachets had been dispensed to a Khayelitsha mother with a baby in need. This is game-changing generosity at work!
